Not 5 dog craziness

Sorry, we are not keeping the Yorkie. I just cant handle any more dogs. She is very sweet and happy. Gets along with all my dogs. But she isn't house broken. Plus she is tiny. You probably couldn't tell from the pictures but she is smaller than Roxy. That's small. She probably weights 3lbs. Tiny! No more tiny dogs for me. They are to hard to house break. We took her back up the the vet this morning. They said they would take good care of her. They feel she is an expensive dog and someone will be looking for her. And just in case she belongs to someone in my neighborhood, I don't have to be the one to lecture them about how to take care of a dog. IF they have to go to the vet to get her, the vet will probably charge them for grooming, vaccines and boarding. And maybe if they have to pay to get their dog back they will learn a lesson. (Hey, I can hope can't I. ) Do vets make owners pay to get their dogs back for care they received? I sure hope so, at least in this case.

She sure looked happy in the last photo of her! She'll be better off at the vet then out in the field and if the owner doesn't show up they'll find her a good home soon I'm sure as she's adorable! You did good!

Can't say I blame you for not keeping her, although I was secretly hoping for it! It does sound like she'd be better off at the vet, where lots of people will see her and hopefully want her. Is there a Yorkie rescue around there? It would be nice if the owners showed up, but I wouldn't get too excited. Some people have more money than brains and disposing of a costly dog is easier than training or rehoming it. I have adopted 2 registered, EXPENSIVE Neapolitan Mastiffs from people that just didn't want them anymore and were ready to put them down. I got one for free. Hope this cutie finds a great home!

I didn't think you'd be keeping her!

I just saw a poster on telephone pole on my way home from work. "Found dog", with a photo of a yorkie! How ironic is that?

I didn't really think you were going to keep her - mini yorkies are so tiny. We have friends who have one and I don't know how she doesn't get stepped on. Hopefully the vet will find the real owner and give the owner heck and hopefully the dog will be ok!

You gotta have limits. I believe ours is 3, but you know it used to be too. I hope she finds a good home. Poor kid.

She is so tiny! If the owners show up, I hope they do have to pay. Maybe they'll learn? If not, I'm sure the vet will find her a better home than the first! She's lucky Stephanie and you found her.

My mom has yorkies....but goodness a little dog like that not housebroken? You know that dog has to live in the house, not to prejudge someone but must not be someone who has a lot of knowledge about how to care for a dog, a nice purse dog--hope if they find her they get to learn a little more about how to take care of her after this incident, or she will get another good home super easy if she is not claimed, either way I would think she has a good chance her life is going to take a great turn now, good thing your daughter found her
