More on Mileys leg/foot

I haven't seen her holding her foot up anymore. The only thing I have seen is a weird gait down the steps at the park. The park steps are wider which must put stress on what ever is wrong. I don't see this at home when she goes down the steps. The first two video's is her going down the steps. You can see her right leg is kinda weird.

This is her going up. I don't see anything when she goes up.

I'm going to make an appt. with a vet and see what they think. If they say she needs rest, I'm probably going to have to board her. I'm terrible at resting my dog. I always let them do to much.

Hummm, gosh, I hope that is going to be better soon. When I took my sheltie Chloe to the vet for a similar problem....they just threw rimadyl at us-never even touched her and said to rest her and that it would continue off and on for a long time, probably for years, but I found a holistic vet and that was the first time I took her in for a chiropractic adjustment and accupuncture and she never limped again, her recovery was pretty dramatic. After that I brought her back a few times, and started some exercises to strengthen that area after it was healed. Then Breeze- was hurt and limped off and on and had gait changes last January and we farted around for months and months, until like July, the vet just said it was her hips because she does have dysplasia, I spent a lot of money taking her to my one vet and wasted a lot of time, and I am glad she wasnt reinjured while we were farting around trying to figure out what was wrong, but when I took her to a canine rehab doctor she said she had an ACL injury and gave us a lot of exercises and no jumping or running -now she is looking better then ever-I am sure it was never her hips it was just that ACL. Guess what I am saying is that I would make sure and get some answers so you can get to the bottom of what is going on even if you have to find a really good vet that does holistic stuff, or a rehab center. Sorry to be so long winded but I am feeling for you. ANYWAY, I sure hope Miley is feeling better really soon, we are sending her some healing thoughts!!!!

I hope the vet can get to the bottom of the problem, and ease your concerns. Miley still looks pretty energetic and happy!

If I look at the first two videos, it look like some ankle problem to me but I am no expert, best to get her to the Vet asap. Good Luck with Miley.

Wow, I can see the difference in her gait going down. Are you taking this video to the vet with you? take your laptop! :)

I agree you should find a vet that won't just give her drugs.
