doesnt seem like the best idea does it? LOL, wonder if the bird rethought her decision once it was done?

LOL! Mom used to see killdeer's nests when she was a kid and marvel at how they lay eggs right on the ground! If you get to close, the mom or dad will flop away like it has a broken wing so that you follow it and lose sight of where the nest is.

It's so cool! We live in a city and not many beautiful birds visit us except the crows and pigeons. On and off we find some egg shells from either the crows or pigeons in our garden. Eva always love those feathers of them.

We have them all over my local library grounds. So fun to watch, and the little ones are SOOOOOO cute!! But a driveway is less than perfect...hope she moves on!
