Chris and Ricky said...: LOL! Mom used to see killdeer's nests when she was a kid and marvel at how they lay eggs right on the ground! If you get to close, the mom or dad will flop away like it has a broken wing so that you follow it and lose sight of where the nest is.; June 16, 2010 at 1:50 PM
