Tides

                  High tide                                                                            Low tide

            High tide                                                                         Low tide

If you click on the picture it will be bigger.  You can see how much more land is available during low tide which is why Guiness could get lost at low tide. you are much more restricted at high tide.  That water way divides Seabrook Island from Kiawah.

I tried to get pictures of the four dogs again.  It didnt work out to well. It wasnt sunny and the dogs were a little wet because its been raining.

The naughty dog is in the back on leash. LOL

I also tried to get another picture of the two shelties but you can see the leash. Ugh! ( these were earlier in the week)

These are pictures I just liked.

First you come out of the water after chasing birds.

Then you shake to get all the water off.

Then you roll around in the sand to rub everything into your fur. Of course Miley would never to this. Yuk!

There was hardly any tide in St. Thomas. It was weird, because I'm used to the huge tides of Maine.

Your dogs look like they love the beach! ENjoy your last couple days, before returning to the daily grind.

The low tide vs high tide photos are very cool! What a huge difference and now I can see how easily Guiness could've gotten to Kiawah. Scary.

Even though you got some rain it looks like you are having fun at the beach. Enjoy it!

I love the last picture!! Miley is the prim and proper princess prancing around Guiness!

We love it when it's low tide because then Eva isn't scared to go into the water with us!

That's a HUGE difference in tides! At some beaches it's hardly recognizable but I can easily see how he could have gotten lost at low tide.

I loved the pictures!

Wow, it all looks so fun. Katie would be much more like Miley, not wanting to get too wet.

That looks like so much fun,and so beautiful, a wonderful way to recharge the soul I bet. I have a beach place that is all land locked and I can let Liz off leash in high tide but she could find getaways during low tide-during high tide the water goes up past a wall of cliffs so there is a dead end at the end of the beach, love it when it is high tide.

What wonderful beach pics. The dogs look like they're having a great time.

We walked on a beach when we were in Florida for the NOI a few years ago. Jamie LOVED chasing the waves. Then we found out it was a no-dogs-allowed beach and the fine was $80 (but no signs were posted, go figure). You've never seen two people and a dog run so fast back to the van. LOL

I have some family that live in Kiawah- such a beautiful place! Looks like a fun day with the pups- and how lucky are you that Miley is a little "neat freak" when it comes to her fur!? Very convenient :) I can't imagine getting sand out of a long haired dog!
