Weave pole challenge Week 2

We did the weave pole challenge on Saturday. I wanted to be able to use 12 weave poles.  I dont think I had my jump angled enough compared to Kathys jump.  You can see we had trouble.  I missed one of the rear crosses.  Then we had a distraction and failed that so I left it in the video.  We also failed once when I pushed passed her, she pulled out and didnt finish the weaves.  Then repeat of that one doesnt look like I pushed as hard. At the time I felt like I did but watching the video, it doesnt look like it.

I love her weave poles! I wish I had a set - or more frequent use of one - to participate in the challenge, but it's fun watching you guys.

I never got to comment on Stephanie's roommate at the orientation. I was horrified at how rude that girl was. Not only was it rude, but it shows she obviously is immature if she thinks that skin conditions have any correlation to washing your face. She's an idiot. I hope she didn't make the time too hard on Stephanie. We fill a lot of Accutane scripts at my pharmacy and have had a lot of patients have to stop treatment because of the horrible side effects.

Yea, I'd say another dog running through your weaves poles is a distraction!

Miley's weaves are awesome, and I'm so impressed that you can both send her and recall her through them and she doesn't hesitate one bit.

Miley did great! Loved her sends and recall! She just flies through those 12 poles like it is nothing! Awesome job you guys!

Thanks for the tips of doing the recall with Eva.

Miley looks so happy weaving, isnt it funny that it seems the roughest thing for most the dogs is when we have handler movement next to them, I am actually how suprised most of the dogs do with the recalls and the sends once they get the idea. Miley really is such an awesome dog....you are so lucky and you really have done such a good job with her. GREAT JOB!

That was a huge distraction! I thought maybe you meant a noise or something, not a big dog rushing out at her. LOl You guys are just awesome though, I can't wait to see how everyone handles the rest of the challenge as the angles get more difficult.
