Why did I take this picture? LOL. So Tuesday I was at the park with the dogs. It was really warm out and I spent about 2 hours taking pictures. Most of them had to be tossed. So while I taking pictures, all of a sudden I cant find Java. The water is really, really low. The dogs can just walk to almost anywhere just getting their feet wet. So if they wanted to leave they could. Its having to swim , that they dont like, that keeps them in this area. But now I cant find Java. What the heck? She was just here. Im looking for her, calling her. Starting to panic. Did she leave? What the heck? The I look up, instead of down and she is right in front of me but up on the end of this log starring at me. (pictured above, picture is taken from the side). The whole time she is probably thinking, Im right here lady, cant you see? So I snap this picture , which is horrible and right into the sun but you get the idea.
Then when crossing the river to go back to the park, there is a lab playing with a ball in the water. So we have to cross in a little bit deeper water and Java is barking like crazy at the dog. Im not sure if it was because he was running and playing. Or if she was "danger" barking. But I was leading the dogs across, all on leash. I see this black thing in the water around Java's legs.OMG, Im freaking. Its a black snake around Java's legs. I start pulling her trying to get her away from it but it just keeps staying around her leg. Holy crap. Again panic. What am I going to do. Guess what, it was the reflection of her black leash in the water. LOL. OMG, Im crazy. Poor Java probably thinks Ive really lost it now.

LOL. That happens to me all the time. I look and look and look, and they are standing right under me.
Haha! Me too - they have a way of hiding right under your nose!
Such a cool place you have to walk all the time!
I laughed out loud at your post today. Thanks for sharing!
Truly you could say "if it was a snake, it would've bitten you!" :)
it's hilarious!
Those girls can really run and jump on those rocks!
Hahaha ... you made my day! Well, I guess Java blend in well in the background didn't help :)
That is such a beautiful place you go to and it is fun that doggies can have fun too :)
I was panicking thinking of a black snack on Javas leg, what a horrible thought.
