Hate Flying

I took the above picture yesterday evening from my cell phone.  It was so pretty out when I got to the park but I didnt bring the good camera because I didnt think there would be anything to take pictures of.

Im on my way to NYC. A sisters/daughers weekend. We just got off the first plane.  Man I hate flying.  The wings go down, the plane banks to the right. The this wings go down the other way, and we bank to the left.  Then we turn again. Its not like we are on a twisty road.   I want to go knock on the cabin door and say, "What the heck?"  Cant it be a straight line. Im only going 30 minutes from Columbia to Charlotte.  Then the one flight attendant (small plane) tells me we need to open the window shade on the decent to the airport. What, the pilot have a blind spot or you just want me to have a better view when we crash?  I dont know, seemed like a weird request.  But we made it here. Now waiting for the next flight.  The boys had to stay home and take care of the dogs.  Poor dogs. LOL just kidding.  Thanks Lou!

how exciting. We told Tyler we would take him to NYC this summer if he kept his grades up and didn't get in trouble. But an all girls trip sounds wonderful. Have fun!

I can sympathies your feeling! I hate flying too! My last flight from Singapore to London was a nightmare and I don't really want to fly again!

Your "open the window" thought made me laugh!

Have a good time at NYC

It's a beautiful picture even though it's taken from your cell phone. A very good cell phone though!!!

Rosie never enjoys her flights but she has to take it 6 times a year from Malaysia to the UK and vice versa, each trip takes at least 12 hours! Poor girl : ) She doesn't even take the cabin foods, sigh!!! Sometimes I wonder whether I could ask the airways to give me some discounts because my girl won't touch their food at all : )

Have a nice weekend!

Wow, great picture from your phone! That is really pretty. Seems like a weird request for the flight attendant to ask you to open the window. I don't see how that does anything to help the pilot. Weird. Anyway, have a great time in NYC!

wow, wonder why the window shade had to be opened that is weird, but like you said blind spots could be bad, LOl, Hope you moved your head so the pilot could see and you were not blocking the window, hahahahhaha. Hope you have a great time.

Great photo! Enjoy your time in NYC. Love NYC!

Have to put your window shade up to land? How weird is that!

Flying isn't always fun, but you probably want the pilots going back and forth to line up for the runway- or else it would be a really bumpy landing lol! Or to get out of the way of another plane. My dad is an airline pilot, so I've grown up with flying. I really enjoy it, but I can understand why some people don't. Those pilots are very talented, skilled individuals- even though it may not always seem like it :) They can't always control winds, air traffic, etc. Hope you all have a great trip and a better flight back! I'm sure your puppies miss you!
