There was an article in the paper here about those squirrel nests and how squirrels survive the cold winter. Supposedly the squirrel can keep the inside of that nest at 40 degrees even when it is way below freezing outside. Incredible!
I love how the tangled branches look against that grey sky, and the cute little squirel, I imagine that is what Miley would like to get for her Chirstmas gift, LOL!

That is an impressive nest. Cute squirrel too. I don't get to see many by my house. I think they steer clear because of my shelties. :)
My Mom has told me about these squirrel things. When she lived in Minnesota (before me) she had lots of them in her garden and would feed them a couple of times a day (yes they were FAT squirrels!!!) We are hoping to see some around where we live now in Arkansas but mom doesn't think we will as they actually hunt and eat them around here - eeeewwwwww !!!!
