Below is the same area, the top one is when they let the dam out. It was like that for several days last week. It where I usually cross the river.
Under the water is the big rocks I take pictures on.

That is sort of scary. Do they warn you that they're going to do this so you know not to be out on the river when they let the dam out?

Ashley, its to deep and swift for the dogs to get in. Its way over my head when they let the water out.
Dawn, yes they have sirens that go off before they let the water out. There is also a website you can go to and find when they are letting water out.

that seems like such a bautiful and mysterious looking place, very cool!
But don't the dogs expect to be able to run in the water when they go there? Do they try when the water is up? And what about people that are from out of town, how do they know this could happen?
