Lightroom

I fixed this picture in Adobe Lightroom. I dont know if you can see the difference. The top one is the original and the bottom one was fixed in lightroom. I replaced on the blog header too.  Miley and Guiness are clearer, less fuzzy. Miley is much less blurry. In light room it crops the picture without changing the size of the picture and it will fix the bend in the photo from the wide angle lens.  Then I took the shadow off of the left side of Mileys face. They offer a 30 day free trial of lightroom. It , so far, is easier then photoshop. At least in my opinion.

Here is another one.

The top one is the original. I lighten the shadow on the right side of Java's face. ( my right, not the dogs right).
I went back in and tried to adjust the color of Java to look more natural. So thats why the third picture.

Wow! That is a huge difference. Cool.

I'd like to use that program to remove the wrinkles from my face!

I'd love to join Sara, remove the wrinkles and pigmentation from my face. LOL!

The edited versions looks great!! There's definitely a big difference. I always love seeing the photos of your gang. :-)

You're going to think I'm crazy, but I actually prefer the unedited versions in both cases.

In the first one you edited I think the dogs are oversharpened. I like the idea of increased contrast and clarity, but think it's a bit too much.

In the second one, I think the colors are too saturated, and look less natural.

Hope that doesn't make you mad--they are both EXCELLENT pictures, and I think your intent was good, but maybe too much editing?

I definitely see the difference. It sounds really good, I might have to try it out too. I really like the header.

Im not offended Ashely. I agree about the second one. But I was tired of messing with it. LOL I was really just trying to get rid of shadows which I always seem to get. LOL

Ashley, I tried to fix the last picture and take out some of the color. What do you think?

Interesting. I've been debating on which editing software to buy...will be watching to see what you think! :)

I can see the difference, the seem much crisper after you've edited them. I guess it would depend on what you are going for in the photo but they all look good to me.

Diana, I think the third picture of Miley coming out of the tunnel is great!! It's brighter without the colors being oversaturated. Nice job! Being me, I might tone down the brightness on her blue eye just a touch, but it does add an element of intensity.

fantastic edits! I'm a huge fan of photoshop (well, mostly CS2, CS5 still confuses me..) good to hear that lightroom is more simple!

WOW! That's a brilliant tool. The group picture is very obvious after the "lightroom" effect. The one of Java out of the tunnel is not so obvious but I can spotted the different. Well done! I may want to try that!
