Felt like summer

Yesterday felt like summer. Well maybe not summer since it was only 81 degrees but it was warm and wonderful. It was suppose to rain but it didnt. My phone has this thing on it where clouds and rain drops come across the screen when its raining. It kept doing that but when I would go look out the window, sunny and no rain. Funny.  So of course we went to the park. And so did a lot of other people.

I tried once again to get a picture of all three dogs.  Its an ok picture but not really what Im looking for.

The water is even lower in the river then the last time we were out there.

Java kept following me out in the middle of the river. But then didnt follow me back, so I had to go back and get her. If she had followed me, I had walked thur a shallow area but when I went to get her, it was through some deep areas. Im mean not that deep but she would have to swim. She didnt like that to much.

I dont think you can see it but she has water coming out of her mouth. Cute!

I keep trying to capture how pretty this is with the sun coming thur that green stuff. This is the best I can do. But it shows you how high the river gets when they let the dam out. That green stuff is from the bottom of the river. When the water rises it gets caught on the trees.

Then you have to run around to dry off.

Java's running contacts are on hold right now as I try to figure out how to fix them. I took her to the agility field and put the two down ramps of the dogwalk together and raised them slightly. I tried all these things for an up ramp. So I finally figured something out. She did well but when I watched the video a lot of times she jumps the up ramp. Not what I wanted.  So I tried a bunch of things at home, trying to raise the plank and make it safe for her. She just wants to jump that up ramp . So I think what Im going to do, it get her running the thin 12 regular dogwalk plank and then switch to a low dogwalk. I hope that helps things. We'll see.  I cant seem to get her to do the trick of all 4 feet in a small bowel either. Im not even to a small bowel yet. Ive been working on it with Miley too. I must be doing something wrong.

Love the threesome photos! They are all so beautiful.

It took me a long time to get the 4 in trick too. I found I had to change my own position. I had been sitting on the floor, but I tried sitting on a chair and they seemed to pick it up after that.

I always love your photos! I thought the green stuff was spanish moss! LOL! SO cool that you can let the dogs run like that, and that they all three like water!

Great pictures! The weather has definitely been crazy. Even here it was 65 a couple days ago. Of course this weekend it's going to be 35 again (and we're trialing..darn!)

I had a hard time with the elephant trick, too. Did you try starting with a really big box? I started with something kind of small and the dogs didn't understand. Then I went to a shoebox and they started to get it. I didn't really go much smaller, though, I started something else.

I always admire you all have so many beautiful places for walks and hiking. The dogs always look so happy and have lots of fun.

Java seems to be really blossoming an develping her personality, she sounds like she is a blast lately. Love that I am not the only one that has trouble getting three dogs to pose, although you are doing pretty good at it, which mine are pretty pathetic, LOL. I know when we took the ST puppy and foundation that there were a few tricks some dogs in the class just seemed to get right away that took us months and months and then some tricks we found easy were challenges for others, guess everyone has to have a trick that is a little harder ;-).

Those running contacts are something else, I want to try them one day just because it seems like you have to be learning so much an I keep hearing that while they are way harder to teach they maintain better if you teach them correctly. I admire you for doing it!

Wow, beautiful photos! So cute!
I find it serioiusly hard to pose all three of my dogs. One always ends up looking unhappy!
